I ordered from Johnny Greekos on a whim, craving some greek food. I am so glad I did! My partner and I have ordered a couple times since then and have not been disappointed. We have tried the pork and chicken pita combos as well as the greek poutine [with souvlaki added]. Everything was delicious but the poutine was such a winner with the extra crispy fries and toppings. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5

I used to come to this location sometimes under the previous brand. I was excited when this first became Johnny Greeko’s. I went and had the chicken souvlaki. It was good, portions were okay, it was good though. Then, I went for a snack. As a Greek restaurant, I would expect they know how to make at least half-decent spanakopita. I ordered it and noticed it was more expensive than it used to be. This increased my expectations further. Boy was I disappointed. Pita was over cooked, feta was very limited, and really didn’t taste good. However, since it had not been long since they opened, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Many months later, I was craving the same so I went and ordered it. This one, I know was made fresh. Again, very wrong. The pita was a dark brown colour indicating it was overcooked. There was like 1-2 pieces of feta in it, the spinach filling was lacking, and for $5, it is quite small for what you pay for. Based on their repeated failures to get this Greek food staple correct, I cannot in good faith give this place a good rating. Their main dishes are good, but in my opinion, slightly over priced. Love Johnny Greeko's just not this location. The people are nice and friendly. Eestaurant is nice. Love that they reused the tables from the pita spot that was here previously. The food quality is not as good as the Cambridge Johnny Greekos, fries are always greasy here and not crispy in the bowls and wraps. The meat is always large and chunky so hard to get a good bite of everything. They need to improve on these things.
