I have lived in Nashville my whole life and this is the BEST BBQ spot ever hands down but what I love the most is how nice the staff is! I can never get enough of their food! Highly recommend checking out this Gem! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My partner and I enjoyed the food and the service from the manager who did a great job and was working hard tending to the customers. However, it was disturbing watching the young waitresses sat in the laps of the male customers, one after another, and did shot with them in the dining room. One of these girls crossed the line when she came over and flirted with my partner in front of me, as she came and got the bottle of the bbq sauce which was full and didn't need to be taken from our table, in the middle of the meal. We came for the food and a time to dine together. Not to watch these girls turn the restaurant into a lap dance show. Very disappointing. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

The food was really good at Judge Bean's BBQ. I had the two meat plate with two sides, opting for the pulled pork and sausage along with the BBQ beans and potato salad. The pulled pork was moist and tasty, and the sausage was really good, with a bit of a kielbasa flavor. The BBQ beans were full of flavor and a little bit sweet, and the potato salad was good with a unique flavor I couldn't quite place. The service was friendly, though a little inattentive. In fairness though, I stopped in at about 2:30pm on a weekday, in between the lunch and dinner rush. So I think service was a little slow in part because the place was rather quiet. I got my food quick, but it took a little while to get noticed so I could place my order. I do like that they have table service rather than ordering at a counter. This place does feel like a bit of a dive bar that happens to serve BBQ. I got the feeling that it is a watering hole for locals, and the interior looks like it hasn't been updated in a very long time. It was comfortable and fine, but definitely looking a little weathered (but then again so am I). Based on the interior, I had somewhat low expectations for the food, but it was actually really good. They also mark their menu to indicate which items are gluten-free, which I thought was a nice touch, especially since my wife can't have gluten.
