What started as a normal ski trip ended in one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. On the first day, we made a mistake and smoked in the room because we genuinely did not know it was not allowed. The hotel warned us, told us clearly it was forbidden, and we immediately apologized and never smoked in the room again. End of story. Or so we thought. The stay itself was okay, but from the start the staff attitude was cold, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. Customer service felt irritated rather than professional, as if guests are an inconvenience instead of the reason the hotel exists. Then came the final day. Out of nowhere, we were accused of smoking AGAIN in the room, which is 100% false. We were skiing all day. While we were gone, the hotel entered our room without permission, despite a DO NOT DISTURB sign clearly hanging on the door. That alone is unacceptable and a serious violation of privacy. Their “evidence”? They claim they saw cigarettes lying on a table and therefore assumed we must have smoked again. No smell, no proof, no ash, no smoke damage. Just assumptions. Cigarettes existing does not equal smoking. That logic is ridiculous. Based on this baseless accusation, we were suddenly told we had to pay €1000. Not a discussion. Not a warning. A demand. To make it even worse, our car was being held hostage. The valet had parked it in the garage, and the hotel refused to release our car until we paid the €1000 fine. This felt less like a hotel and more like extortion. After a long ski trip, being blocked from leaving unless you hand over a massive amount of money is completely unacceptable. We were treated like criminals, not guests. No proof. No respect. No professionalism. Just accusations, intimidation, and pressure. If you value basic respect, privacy, and fair treatment, stay far away from this hotel. One honest mistake was turned into a nightmare, and we were punished for something that simply did not happen. This experience completely ruined our trip to Ischgl. I would never return and would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here. Service: 1

Very poor and unacceptable experience. The staff of this hotel is extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy. During our stay, there was one incident of smoking in the room, for which we received a warning. This did not happen again. Nevertheless, at check-out we were suddenly confronted with a €900 fine and €300 in cleaning fees, amounts that were never mentioned or communicated beforehand. As if that was not enough, the hotel withheld our car key and refused to return our vehicle until the charges were paid. This was done without any official documentation, invoice, or written justification. This behavior felt like pure intimidation and extortion. Our complaints were not taken seriously and were even met with mocking and laughter. This is no way to treat guests and is absolutely unworthy of a hotel. I strongly advise against staying here and will never return. Service: 1

What we experienced at this hotel goes far beyond poor service. It was a total failure of professionalism, safety, and basic human decency. There was one single incident of smoking in the room. We were immediately addressed about this, and from that moment onward no smoking occurred. The room did not smell of smoke afterward. Despite this, the situation was later used as an excuse to impose excessive and unjustified additional charges. Although we had already paid €1,600 for the room, we were told we had to pay an additional €900, and were explicitly informed that our car keys would not be returned unless this amount was paid. Holding personal property to force payment is deeply inappropriate, coercive, and unacceptable. The situation escalated further when security was involved, who behaved in a threatening and power-driven manner, even though we remained calm and respectful throughout. This created an extremely unsafe and intimidating atmosphere, more reminiscent of extortion than hospitality. To make matters worse, hotel staff entered our room without consent, warning, or any legitimate reason, while nothing was wrong. This is a serious violation of privacy and completely unacceptable in any hotel, especially at this price level. The staff were consistently unfriendly, dismissive, and unprofessional. When we pointed out that the situation was clearly out of proportion, my roommate was laughed at. This level of disrespect toward paying guests is appalling. Additionally, the hotel advertised a car valet/transport service, which was almost never available. As a result, we had to walk approximately 8 minutes each time. While the walk itself is not the issue, charging for a service that is not actually provided is misleading. We did not leave this hotel disappointed — we left shocked. This stay left us with a deeply uncomfortable, unsafe, and powerless feeling. The way guests are treated here is intimidating, disrespectful, and completely unworthy of being called a hotel. Avoid this place unless you are prepared to have your privacy, safety, and dignity disregarded. Service: 1
