3.50 for an extra sauce..... That being said, the brisket was not bad, although I would have liked it a bit more juicy. The half chicken was impressive in the box. It had good flavor. The meat fell off the bone. I enjoyed the potato salad. Heads up, the slaw is vinegar based. Food: 4 Service: 4 Price per person: $10–20

This was undeniably the most unsatisfactory barbecue experience. I find it difficult to comprehend how genuine individuals could have contributed to the 4.5-star rating this establishment has received. I only consumed a single bite of the meat and a single bite of a side dish, as I was concerned about potential illness. The premises were not clean. It is astonishing to me that this establishment continues to operate. Wichita, I am profoundly disappointed. Julius Rib Cage is a no frills place to get some GREAT smoked barbecue! During 2020, he shut down the dining area, never to reopen. The inside isn't anything to look at, anyway- you're there for the meat! We have a tradition of ordering ribs, brisket, and pulled pork for family gatherings, and everyone loves it! If you can get Julius on the phone (he's a one man show now, I think) call ahead and he'll make sure he has it for you. But don't go in a hurry- like I said, he's a one mane operation. But so worth it Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
