I went through the drive-through at KFC Colac this morning and was extremely disappointed by the level of customer service I received. Both the young employee taking my order and the staff member handing me my food appeared uninterested and acted as though they didn't want to be there. My bag of food was handed to me with little care, and the drive-through window was closed so quickly that I barely had a chance to respond. There was no "thank you," "have a nice day," or any basic courtesy that customers should expect. Good manners and customer service cost nothing, yet they make a huge difference to the customer experience. KFC really needs to place a greater emphasis on training staff in customer service and basic courtesy. In comparison, the employees at McDonald's are consistently friendly, polite, and always wish customers a great day. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor impression, and I will not be returning. If I could give no stars I would. Do better KFC Meal type: Brunch Price per person: A$1–20

Ordered our meals, after we received them we noticed we were missing 2 regular chips so we went back through the drive thru. When we got to the window we explained what we were missing, the fella at the window wandered off and came back with what I’m assuming was the manager. He then asked to check our bags to make sure we were telling the truth. It just felt rude and unnecessary for two regular chips. On a bright note, food was tasty.
