Waiting time: 0min at lunch First dish: 5 min My first KFC experience in Japan! I was really excited to try it, as I had heard they raise a special type of chicken here (something about being fed herbs—please correct me if I’m wrong). The portion size was larger than I expected, since most food in Japan tends to be on the smaller side. The taste was milder compared to the U.S., a little less salty. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the “extra crispy” option, only the regular. However, the limited-time spicy chicken was excellent—crispy like the American extra crispy style—so I know they can do it. Hopefully, KFC Japan will make that a regular option in the future!
