had a very disappointing experience at this KFC location. I arrived for a simple pickup order and ended up waiting around 20 minutes in total, despite there being very few items in my order. When I first arrived, it took 6 minutes before any staff acknowledged me, even though staff were present in the back. When I was eventually approached, I was told my order would take another 5–10 minutes, even though I had already been waiting for a while. During my time in-store, service felt disorganised and inconsistent. Other customers appeared to be served ahead of those who had already been waiting, and the overall customer experience felt unfair and poorly managed. There was also little communication or acknowledgment while waiting, which made the experience more frustrating. In addition, I observed behaviour from staff that was unprofessional in a food service environment, including the handling and use of nicotine products (nicotine poutch that was traded and then placed oraly right away before handling food again) while on duty and in view of customers. Additionally, the music playing in the store was very loud and included inappropriate lyrics, which made the environment uncomfortable and not very suitable for a family-oriented fast food setting. Overall, the service felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. I hope management addresses staffing, training, and in-store environment standards so that service quality improves for future customers.

We had a good experience at this KFC. The atmosphere was pleasant, and there is plenty of parking available along the service road, which makes visiting very convenient. The staff were friendly, kind, and provided fast service. The food itself is not anything particularly special, but it is good value for the price and was served quickly. Overall, it's a reliable place for a quick and affordable meal with great convenience and customer service. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$1–20

i came to kfc highett and did not know what to order , the lovely server winnie helpfully suggested some amazing foods and i ended up spending lots of money there. it was my birthday and winfred rounded up the whole team to sing me a warm happy birthday. overall amazing experience the food was amazing and the culture there is clearly awesome. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
