I stopped by KFC in Kinston and picked up an 8-piece bucket of chicken, and let me tell you... that bucket didn't stand a chance. The chicken was so good I opened the box "just to take a quick look" and somehow a drumstick mysteriously disappeared before I even left the parking lot. I suspect the Colonel has trained his chickens to hypnotize customers. One minute you're driving home responsibly, the next minute you're negotiating with yourself about whether eating "just one more piece" counts as dinner. The chicken was hot, crispy, juicy, and packed with that famous finger-lickin' flavor. The only problem was trying to keep everyone else's hands out of my bucket. Family members suddenly appeared from rooms I didn't even know existed the moment that KFC aroma filled the house. By the end of the meal, the bucket was emptier than my promises to "save some for tomorrow." If you're in Kinston and craving fried chicken, do yourself a favor and stop by KFC. Just be warned: the 8-piece bucket may sound like enough food, but somehow it shrinks faster than ice cream on a July afternoon in North Carolina! Finger lickin' good? Absolutely. Bucket surviving the trip home? Not a chance. A big thank you to the team for the great food and friendly service. We always appreciate the hard work that goes into serving fresh, delicious meals.
