Decided after a hard week to have a treat. The reality was very different as I ordered a 3 piece meal, I must have been given the smallest chicken pieces they could find - there was more meat on the rats in the car park than I was given. The fries were inedible and we threw them away, hubbies burgers were a lot smaller than they used to be. In fact I could have gone to a local pub and brought 2 proper meals and 2 beers for the same price as I paid for this substandard crap. Definitely will not return! Went to KFC recently and had a much better experience than I expected. We ordered burgers, a wrap, wings, fries and drinks. The place was busy but the service was still quite quick and the staff were friendly when taking the order. The burgers were fresh and tasted really good. The chicken was crispy and hot, the buns were soft and everything inside tasted fresh. The wrap was also very nice and probably one of the best things we ordered. It was full of flavour, had plenty of chicken inside and was not dry like some wraps can be. The wings were definitely the highlight of the meal. They were crispy on the outside, juicy inside and had a nice bit of spice. They tasted fresh and were cooked properly, not too oily. We also ordered fries which came hot and crispy, and the drinks were cold which completed the meal. The restaurant itself was clean and there was enough space to sit comfortably. Even though there were a lot of people waiting for food, we did not have to wait too long. The staff were working hard and were polite when bringing the order over. One thing I liked was that everything came out fresh and hot. Sometimes with fast food places you can tell the food has been sitting there for a while, but this did not feel like that at all. The food tasted fresh and looked good as well. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got. Portion sizes were decent and we all left full. Overall it was a really good visit and definitely one of the better KFC meals I have had. I would happily go back again, especially for the wings and wrap because they were the best part of the meal.
