I had to cancel at short notice due to a family medical emergency. I described this to her in an email, apologized and asked if the reservation could be postponed. Unfortunately, the answer was a long, very unfriendly and absolutely not empathetic/understanding answer. I find such a cheeky attitude to be neither service-oriented nor humane. Service: 1

I think most people can understand that for a one-person hobby business it's not that pleasant if you have to throw away a prepared afternoon tea. It is your subjective perception that I answered very unfriendly and absolutely inhumane. If there had been even the slightest sign from you that you would make a small compensation for the free preparation and the processed food, then I would have gladly accepted the postponement of the afternoon tea. I can only reply that I also find it cheeky to respond with such a review, especially since I accepted the short-term cancellation without further ado and without compensation.
