Today I visited Kanko Lounge in Rugby for the first time, and I was very pleasantly surprised. As someone with a mobility scooter, accessibility is really important to me, and Kanko Lounge ticked all the boxes. There's a sturdy, wide ramp at the entrance, and the accessible toilet is spacious enough to accommodate both me and my scooter with ease. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the coffee was excellent, and there was a great selection of reasonably priced light lunches, including jacket potatoes, toasties, wraps and some delicious-looking Asian treats. Many of the options were around the £6 mark, making it great value. They're also licensed if you fancy something a little stronger than coffee! A lovely bonus is that they host free live music for the community on the last Friday of every month from 1–3pm. With plenty of seating both indoors and outside, it's somewhere I'll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended! Absolutely horrible they threatened to throw my mates crisps in the bin cus we was sat outside as he thought he was gonna pass out honestly horrible staff and horrible manager my friend suffers willth seizures. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
