What a great restaurant! We had the Kinmedai set, Ponzi gyoza, mushrooms, scallops and it was all delicious. The staff was super friendly and some spoke pretty good English. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best Sashimi dish, boiled Kinmedai with soy sauce, and fried dumplings (we got this menu as complimentary), all were so so much delicious personally 100/10 (We love authentic, natural and traditional taste that we couldn't find the taste in the big city at all). The owner can speak english and he can recommend the sake. We are so appreciated with the Japanese traditional hospitality and service minds of everyone in the restaurant. This place was such a pleasant surprise. We had a few restaurants planned for our Izu trip, and Kappore wasn’t even in our top 3 — but I’m really glad we ended up here. We came after a late return from Jogasaki Coast and decided to give it a try. There’s no English menu, but some items had pictures, which helped a lot. We used Google Translate to chat with the staff — they were super friendly and helpful. One of them even showed us how to properly eat some of the dishes and how to grate fresh wasabi the right way. The food was amazing. The sashimi was super fresh and even better with the fresh wasabi. The ebi tempura was crispy and delicious — you could really taste the natural sweetness of the prawns. There’s a small parking lot right next to the shop. We arrived just before they opened at 5 PM, so we had no trouble getting a spot.
