Kasuri Izakaya was such an unexpected find in Masuda. The food is absolutely excellent and the prices are surprisingly good for the quality. Every dish we tried was outstanding, especially the mixed sashimi, the wagyu, and the sake tasting set, a must-try for anyone who enjoys exploring local flavors. The restaurant has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and feels very much like a family-run place, with friendly service and genuine warmth. It’s the kind of spot that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Truly one of the highlights of eating out in Masuda. Be prepared for a Japanese only menu, so bring your translator.
