Edit: dropped to one star for the snarky reply. Looking at your previous replys you seem to have a habit of trying to blame anyone that doesn't like your food. I was asked if I wanted a to go box so it was definitely more than two bites and I did in fact tell the waitress that it was salty. Food was relatively quick but I think this was the worst biscuits and gravy I've ever had. It was loaded with salt to the pont I couldn't even finish it which is a situation I've never run into at a restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast

Hi Martin,We were pretty surprised to see this review, as our Biscuits and Gravy is actually the highest-selling and most complimented item on our menu! Just to be safe, our kitchen double-checked today's gravy batch, and it was made perfectly to our recipe specs.You mentioned it was so heavily salted that you "couldn't even finish it"—which is a bit of a head-scratcher for us. While it's technically true that you didn't finish it, leaving exactly two bites on an otherwise demolished plate tells a slightly different story!It’s also incredibly tough for us to step in and fix an issue when you assure your server everything is fine during their table check, only to wait until the food is 98% gone to mention you didn't like it. 1 star. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place earned one. The food was simply bad, the service was painfully slow, and the staff was unpleasant throughout our visit. Nothing about the experience justified the time or the money. There are much better places to eat in Ridgway. I cannot recommend Kate's Place. Ps. No beer, no wine, no alcohol (hot afternoon...). We’re bummed to land on the low side of your pendulum, but 1-stars aren't quite the rare occasion you made them out to be.* **No cold beer?**: We’re a breakfast and brunch café. Docking us for no alcohol on a hot afternoon is a bit like dinging a coffee shop for not changing your tires.
