Si pasas por Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, visita este restaurante. La cocina japonesa es excelente en Katsu-Shack. Es siempre una experiencia agradable comer sus perfectamente elaborados katsu, sus sorprendentes gambas ebi katsu o su generoso pollo katsu. El té de matcha es insuperable: pruébalo.

I got my food to go but it was delicious, the tonkatsu was perfectly cooked and juicy, the black curry was savory and in general this is a great place. I placed 4 stars for service and atmosphere because it's largely human interaction free which I don't love, particularly if you have questions about what comes with the sets. Will have to try the katsu-sando next time. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Black Katsu Curry and Rice

In all honesty, I was seeing this place a lot when I was on errands and wanted to try it one day. That day was last week Sunday. Went there with my fiancée, the place was living up to the name of it being a shack, no problems there. The food price was... high. I ended up getting a pork cutlet sando and it was about 16 or 17 dollars. My fiancée ended up getting a bent box that was 17 dollars or so. For the price of the food, it was mediocre at best. My sandwich was with dipper type and it was spicy and really good, but the sando itself wasn't filling enough for the price and not really seasoned fully. The sauce was needed to make bareable. My fiancée said that there were items not advertised on the menu for the bento box, so he couldn't identify it. Both the chicken and the breading of it wasn't seasoned. The juice I had was 4 dollars, small and not that great. He had a milk coffee that was too sugary. Both of them were the ones in a can. All together, it was 47 dollars and it wasn't worth it. Glad to have tried it once to get it out of my curiosity list, but wouldn't try it again. Meal type: Lunch Recommended dishes: Katsu-Shack Bento Box, Katsu
