I was visiting from Scotland and was driving from Sama Al Wasil to Muscat via Sur, and stopped off in the mall for a break. Spanish latte was very good indeed, and most welcome. Staff were friendly and efficient. 2 stars for atmosphere because I was the only customer so early in the morning. However the restaurant was clean, tidy and relaxing. Great experience Classy western style restaurant. We didnt know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Wife had pulled beef risotto. Large portion and beef was excellent. Fresh tender and tasty. Same for pulled beef burger. A delicious meal. Service was good too - thanks Irene :) And the takeaway bag was a nice touch Meal type: Dinner Price per person: OMR 2–4 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the Best Dining Spots in Sur! Kazu Restaurant is hands down one of the best things to a top-notch dining experience in Sur. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it's a truly family-friendly place that makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is lovely—stylish yet relaxed—and everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure you’re well looked after. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal whether you’re with family, friends, or even dining solo. The only small downside is that during the week, the menu is more limited—items like steaks, pasta, and salmon aren’t available. But on weekends, when the full menu is on offer, it’s well worth the visit (just be prepared—it does get very busy!). Overall, Kazu is a gem in Sur and a place I always look forward to returning to.
