Durum with extra kebab at Kebabhuset Amore - An in-depth review: I decided to try the Durum with Extra Kebab at this eatery as I have always had a penchant for juicy and tasty kebabs. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory and I feel obliged to share my impressions. Let me start with the meat, as it was the first thing that disappointed me. I had paid extra to get more meat, but the salad clearly exceeded the meat in quantity. It's frustrating when you specifically order extra meat and it doesn't live up to expectations. It felt like they followed a 30-70 rule with the salad dominating, instead of the expected 60-40 split between meats where meat is dominant. This gave me the impression that the quality of the kebab had been neglected in favor of saving on costs. Now, let's talk about the bread. The bread was unfortunately a big disappointment. It was soggy on some sides and clearly affected by the excessive amount of dressing. The bread is an important part of any kebab experience, and it must be crispy and flavorful. Here it was just a wet and tasteless component that not only made the kebab difficult to hold together, but also reduced the joy of eating it. When it comes to the kebab meat itself, I can say that the taste was acceptable. However, it was disappointingly overshadowed by the huge amount of salad. The meat should have been the star of this meal, but it was almost drowned in greens. It's a shame because the kebab meat was tasty and had the potential to be the best part of the meal. Price was also an issue. I paid DKK 100 for this Durum with extra kebab and therefore expected a valuable experience. But with the small amount of meat and the excessive salad, I didn't feel like I was getting my money's worth. If I pay extra for the meat, I also expect to get enough of it. Overall this was a disappointing experience. The durum was acceptable but nothing to brag about, especially considering the price. The meat was overshadowed by the salad, the bread was soggy and the whole meal left me feeling like quality had been compromised. I will consider looking elsewhere when looking for a tasty kebab experience that meets my expectations. I will add that the bread around the durum was really flakey. It fell apart add to the lede.
