I recently visited Kerman BBQ, drawn in by their glossy Instagram presence—but unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the online hype. • Unfriendly ordering process We greeted the staff and sat at an empty table, expecting to be served. After several minutes with no one approaching, we asked for menus—and were told we had to go order from the counter ourselves. To make matters worse, they asked to pay upfront. That felt impersonal and frankly, unprofessional. • Poor food presentation When the food arrived, I was disappointed. The “side garnish” was nothing more than a small heap of chopped onions and herbs dumped into a disposable plastic container. It looked more like takeout fare than anything you’d get dining in. • Mismatch with Instagram image Judging by their Instagram feed, I expected lemon wedges and fresh herbs. What I received bore no resemblance to those high-end visuals. • Value and experience In short, neither the food nor the service lived up to the prices—or their online promotions. For the same cost, you can easily find better quality restaurants that treat you with genuine hospitality. Overall verdict: Despite strong social media marketing, Kerman BBQ failed to deliver a welcoming atmosphere, professional service, or acceptable plating—especially for dine-in. The food and service just didn’t justify the prices. I wouldn’t recommend it to those seeking a satisfying BBQ experience. Price per person: IRR 3–3.5M Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
