Visited Kha-bar today and had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambience was warm, inviting, and beautifully done. The service was impressively quick, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout. Everything came together to make for a great dining experience. Finally an authentic Bengali restaurant in Seattle! Can’t rate this place highly enough. We had egg chop, fish fry, chili chicken and chicken Kathi roll for appetizer. Every one of them was finger licking good. Among the main dishes, the mutton curry was heavenly, with juicy succulent mutton in perfectly cooked gravy. Imagine our joy in getting proper Bengali luchi and alur dam. The desserts have authentic Bengali sweets such as patisapta, labanga lotika and balusai goja. The rabri was the only one that missed the mark. Balusai was fantastic. Our server Khan was so sweet and attentive. We had such a great dinner. Can’t wait to get back. Absolutely incredible experience. The meat was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can truly taste the authenticity in the dishes, with rich spices and traditional Bengali flavors done right. It felt like real homemade Bengali food made with care and passion. Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine and perfectly prepared meat dishes. Truly loved it !!!
