Kilwins serves some of the most delicious ice cream you can find! It is a wonderful family-owned business, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. The service here is incredibly thoughtful. Since my parents have some difficulty walking, the owners even allowed us to park behind the shop for easier access, which made our visit so much smoother. I have also brought my kindergarten students here for a field trip, and the experience was fantastic. They are so organized and offer great prices for groups. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to an old-fashioned candy and ice cream shop. It is impeccably clean and even offers a public restroom for convenience. The owner hand-makes almost all of their chocolates and treats, which is such a special touch. For seating, you have several great options: • Inside: A few cozy tables to enjoy the vintage vibe. • Front: Plenty of benches nearby if you want to people-watch. • Back: A nice outdoor seating area behind the shop. Whether you are stopping in for a scoop or looking for a perfectly organized group outing, this shop is a local treasure!

Amazing experience at Kilwins in Apex! We arrived right as they were closing, but the owner went out of their way to help us. They kindly stayed a little past closing so I could grab chocolates for my daughter and ice cream for me and my husband. That level of kindness and customer service really meant a lot to us. Everything was delicious, and the extra effort made the visit even sweeter. We’ll definitely be back!

Great store! They have decorated for Christmas! The employees and owners are both very friendly, welcoming, and they have delicious ice cream, fudge, and truffles. The owners really enjoy having a friendly conversation with us and always suggest different samples to my kids. I love to always stop by with my family and get a few sweet treats.
