I was thoroughly disappointed with the customer service I received at this establishment last night. I had come to the store to purchase a $20 quart of ice cream, knowing the price beforehand. I requested two flavors of ice cream to be packed in the quart container. However, the young lady at the counter informed me that I could only put one flavor in the container. This contradicted last week’s experience when a different attendant encouraged me to try two flavors in the same quart container. When I mentioned this to her she shrugged, looked at her coworker and then said ‘OK’ Upon receiving the ‘filled’ container, I noticed that it was significantly lighter than expected and easily squishable. I politely asked if she could pack the container properly, as is the standard practice. Despite my request, she handed me a partially empty container again. When I returned the container and pointed out that it was still not full, her response was simply, “Well, I tried.” This response left me astounded, as it seemed to imply that trying was sufficient when purchasing a product. A customer paying for a full-sized product should receive a full-sized product. I appreciate the quality of their ice cream, but this incident has left me with a lasting impression. I will not be returning to this store anytime soon. I suggest that the store owner take some lessons from the store owner at Kilwins in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Kilwins store owner is known for his friendly demeanor, competent staff, and their commitment to fully packing ice cream containers with multiple flavors.

Best place in Ridgewood to get ice cream. So many flavors to choose from. Their cookies and cream is their #1 flavor and it’s delicious. Also their Marshmallow S’mores and Superman also very good. Staff is very friendly and always has a smile. Definitely the place to stop for some Post dinner desert or an afternoon snack. Even if their is a wait the line moves fast and the staff makes sure everyone gets served quickly,
