The reason I gave it one star is because the Oak Forest location permanently closed around December 8, 2021 yet their website does not indicate this. Was supposed to meet a friend there for breakfast this morning, December 15, 2021 and the place was all dark. Note on door says they moved to Flossmoor. OK fine but hey, update your website, please, so people don't waste their time going there, just to find out it's permanently gone.

I know most places use the leftover ham from day before in their skillets until used up around after noon but you can never get a skillet here no matter how late in the day without the ham being ground up which is a tell-tale sign of it being maybe days old. Another thing they do is douse it with salt to try to hide the days-old taste! Salt is bad for people with High Blood Pressure and a sad thing to have to do to compromise people's health to make a profit. The prices are high for the poor quality of the meat. The bag the bread comes in is obviously left open all day, so the bread is hard as a brick before being toasted, so it is even harder when it comes out of the toaster and lays on the table for 5 mins before being brought to your table! Last thing I'll mention is that the whole place is carpeted but they have no vacuum, only a broom and dustpan which brushes all the dirt and dust into the air and into your food as your eating! The carpet there obviously hasn't been vacuumed in years! Better places to eat for both price and cleanliness!!!

We have gone here a number of years because my wife likes it, but they do not know how to prepare your eggs to order and both undercook and overcook the hash browns. The pancakes are always rubbery and never hot. I told the owner my food was awful and I did not eat it, yet he still charged me full price. Will never go there again.
