My first time at this Kintaro. I usually go to Elizabeth or Brick works. Service was average. I had to get their attention to get anything. Karaage had been on the train too long. Nice t an experience I am in a hurry to repeat. I will continue to go to the others, particularly Brick works that are a little more attentive.

Great place for sushi that is affordable and on the run. Comfortable vibey place but was understaffed. Good sushi and prices.

Decided to try out our local Kintaro sushi train for the first time. We weren't really keeping track of the prices of things as we were eating, as other sushi trains we've frequented usually end up costing somewhere around $40-$50 for us, but our meal ended up costing a little over $60 which was pretty surprising considering most of the food was quite average.

Sashimi was yummy and fresh albeit a little pricey compared to other sushi trains I've visited; I especially liked the salmon with the mayo and onion - a very nice combination. The seafood udon I ordered, however, was verrrry average. In the picture it seemed like there would be mussels in it but there weren't any, and the prawns were all mangled and weren't very tender. Flavour of the broth was very average, but chilli powder made it better. For $14.50, though, it really wasn't great. Prawn dumplings were delicious but the presentation of them submerged in some kind of broth was a little inconvenient? It made them hard to eat because their sogginess made them fall apart whenever you tried to grab one. Desserts weren't bad flavour-wise but it seemed like they must've been sitting around on that train for a while as the cake at the bottom of my moose was very soggy.

Overall, may give this place another try in the future, as the staff were quite nice and, again, the sashimi was pretty good, but will be sure to be a little more careful when deciding what to order next time.
