Been in Japan travelling for three weeks. Tried expensive restaurants all the way down to street food. This is honestly the best meal we’ve had. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

日本語口コミ下記に有り. This restaurant is close to Shiramine Shrine, Seimei Shrine, and Nishijin Textile Museum. It is a kind of creative, international cuisine. Everything is delicious: egg bowls, tomatoes with white asparagus sauce, croquettes with four kinds of mashroom, pasta, and pork dishes. It is easy to see why this restaurant has remained so popular over the years. Of course, there are plenty of alcoholic beverages as well. こちらのレストランは、白峰神社や清明神社、西陣織会館などから近いです。創作無国籍料理と言う感じです。玉子丼、トマトのホワイトアスパラソースかけ、キノコのコロッケ、パスタ、豚肉の料理なんでも美味しいです。長年ここで人気を保ち続けているのが分かるレストランです。 もちろんアルコール類も豊富です。. I went to Kitchen Bonasai with my boyfriend 2 out of 3 nights in Kyoto - the food was THAT good. It’s a real hidden treasure. The owner, Taro, who is extremely friendly, cooks freshly prepared Japanese and western food with great flavoring that is truly remarkable (note the menu is only in Japanese). There are regulars that frequent this place, and one told us straight away we made a great choice. Did we ever. It’s casual and relaxed atmosphere is also a positive - it was an excellent way to end a full day in Kyoto. We will definitely go back on our next visit, and hope he recognizes us in the long queue waiting to get in. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
