The bacon and cheese beef burger for the win. Ordered it medium done. Juicy and tasty! A decent size hamburger.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is one of the many restaurants inside The O2 Arena - with this being just one stop away from Canary Wharf, where I was staying during my time in London on the tube, I decided to call in here to use my voucher for a free burger from Head Office to make up for a bad experience at their branch in Sheffield - The Moor. The store is in a decent location within the mini shopping centre and is situated near multiple rivals including Five Guys, TGI's, Nando's and Ask Italian. The staff here didnt seem too friendly - they just weren't welcoming, which started at the really high ordering table and then the attitudes towards an allergy order: originally the staff member who gave me my menu and sat me down took my order only for her to realise half-way through she couldn't do it as she wasn't authorised to handle allergy orders - only for me have to wait for a few moments to repeat and start everything again with no apology. I went for a GF Satay Chicken burger and I rather regret it - the chicken was rather tough and low quality and it seemed the satay sauce was everywhere apart from the bun, making my burger a horrible mess which I couldn't even begin to eat without it sliding off and coming apart, the satay sauce was too sweet and just made the bun soggy - meanwhile the chicken just tasted poor quality. I ended up leaving my burger due to how bad it was, hoping the one remaining saving grace would be the chips - the chips were undercooked and bland which is a shame as normally GBK do a decent job with them. Rude, unprofessional staff who don't know what they're doing, serving wrongly cooked and poor quality food just shows why GBK as a whole is struggling - my only guess for why and how this branch survives is by being a tourist trap if you will to visitors of The O2 arena before the show with little competition in the burger-market nearby other than another bad branch of Five Guys. 1*
