Stopped here to get some lunch on my way home after working in langebaan for the weekend. Very cool place and friendly staff. However the food was disappointing. I ordered a roosterkoek with just cheese and bottle of coke. Paid R55 for a small and not much of meal roosterkoek and R25 for a buddy coke. Thought that was a bit pricey. Pizzas looked good though so maybe I'll order that next time. Still a lekker spot though.

I am so sorry that one star is the minimum Kleine Hopefield can score. I bought two rather expensive spinach and feta pies from there recently. Only to arrive at home (about 70 km away) to find the dough virtually raw with almost NO filling in. I phoned them to tell them they have a problem with their suppliers. They apologized and ask what they could do to make up for the inconvenience. I said I imagine give my money back on the two pies. They agreed. I followed up a couple of weeks later to offer my banking details as they did nothing further. Only to be told that they can only give me one pies money back as they could only see the one on a video that I have send them. I could have just kept quiet but complained so that they can do something about it as I respect small business struggle and if they didn't know they cannot rectify. Absolute disgrace. But yes I guess no good dead goes unpunished. Never again. Not even for a bottle of water. Good luck with these service levels Kleine Hopefield.

For clarity, Kleine Hopefield is home to a number of independently owned and operated small businesses. Each business manages its own products, suppliers, and customer service. We have taken note of your feedback and will bring this to the attention of the specific business that sells the pies, as constructive feedback is important for improvement. We do hope that, should you visit again in the future, you might still consider supporting some of the other small businesses on the farm, who each offer their own unique products and experiences.
