I’ve used Kneaders for multiple events across several locations, so I had high expectations. I hosted two catered events through the Layton location about a week ago — and both had delivery problems. Event 1: The driver called for an address that had been confirmed in advance. Minor inconvenience, but we chalked it up to a fluke. Food was wonderful and the event went well. Event 2: I called 30 minutes before the event trying to locate my delivery. They said they had no address on file — despite me re-confirming it after the first incident. No one called. The food just sat at the store. It was rushed over, arriving after guests had already arrived. When I opened the pastry box, several were smashed — still tasty, but not presentable. Not the standard I expect from Kneaders, and not what I’m paying to set out for guests. I asked to speak with the general manager. I was directed to the catering manager instead, who apologized for the inconvenience. After some pressure, she promised a credit card refund within 3–4 days. It’s now been 8 days. No credit has appeared. Two delivery failures in the same week - one affecting the start of our meeting, damaged product, and an unresolved refund. If you’re planning a catered event at the Layton location, consider yourself warned. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

My husband of 43 years and I went here for a date yesterday evening. We shared salad and sandwich entrees, which were delicious. The staff were prompt and attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable and intimate, groups and couples sharing good times and good food. Meal type: Dinner

I've visited this location several times over the past few months (and years), and unfortunately, my experiences have been disappointing. The service was lacking, and the food quality didn't meet my expectations, which made me hesitant to return. This visit was completely different. Seaydee was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about providing excellent customer service. The food I ordered was in stock, fresh, and much better than what I've received during previous visits. Because of Seaydee, this visit changed my opinion of this location. I hope management recognizes the positive impact she has on customers. She is the reason I'll be willing to give this location another chance. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5
