Rude and inattentive staff who are more interested in their own conversations than serving customers, and who do not even acknowledge your existence - especially the girl with the glasses, braces and brown plaited hair. My drink tasted of sugar and milk, not even a hint of chocolate flavour. Really disappointed as was looking forward to trying this for a while. Will not be back.

Thanks to Caleb and Simba for taking such great care of me this evening. Passed by last minute and they took the time to help me make a decision yet surprisingly made and a suggestion for the coconut and lemon zest hot chocolate. It was sooooo delicious but above all, I was very humbled by their service and attention to detail. Thank you so much for cheering up a grey and rainy evening . I’ll surely be returning soon. My visit to Knoops wasn’t quite up to it’s usual standard on my previous visit. I ordered a 28% cocoa with the works, and was shocked to realise that the usually delicious cream had a sour taste to it. I informed the staff that the cream tasted sour and even though they assured me that it was meant to taste like that as it was made fresh, I wasn’t convinced as I have had whipped cream at Knoops several times and it has never tasted like that. They also mentioned that I was not the first to make a similar complaint. I decided to ask for my drink to be remade without the cream and the staff were happy to do this for me which was nice of them. Although my hot chocolate was nice in the end, it has put me off going back to Knoops as I am unsure why the cream tasted so strange and if it could be to do with its freshness.
