Almost all of them told us to come here that the food and beer were good and the prices affordable.
We sat outside with a wonderful view on the river and the green hills.
Service: The service was very friendly and the food was good. It was not gourmet food, but the kind of genuine typical food you’d expect to get in a Czech “hospoda”. We were so happy, that we decided to go eat there one more time before we left from Czech. Both times we were satisfied. The second time my platter arrived when everybody else were almost done with theirs but that can happen.
In reference to some previews reviews, something I would have not done was to order Mexican in a Czech restaurant and expect it to be great.
When I visit next year I’ll go back to Kocanda, I like the fact they have a big playground for children and it seems to be well known in the area. When you travel around the world you want to go eat where locals eat, not where tourists eat…right?!
