Food quality: 1) there was only one small piece of mushroom in the mushroom soup; 2) the bograch was liquid and did not look like a real bograch; 3) chanterelle mushrooms were watery, as after defrosting. Service: 1) after placing an order, we asked a passing waiter to add one dish to our order - he, without slowing down, answered “now” and we did not see him again, after a while we had to ask for another waiter; 2) after we drew the waiter's attention to the absence of mushrooms in the mushroom soup and asked to convey this to the kitchen workers, no feedback (at least a duty apology) came from any of them; 3) the salad was not the one we ordered, but changed after a while; 4) asked to bring more bread (we had black bread before), they brought us black and white bread, without specifying anything before that (we don't eat white bread at all). Yesterday and the day before yesterday we visited two other restaurants of local cuisine ("Staraya Vorokhta" and "Medvezhya Gora"), the quality of food and service in them was much higher, and the prices were much lower. Based on this, I believe that a significant part of the excellent and good ratings of the Salo restaurant is organized by parties interested in its marketing promotion.
I do not recommend anyone to repeat our mistake and visit the restaurant "Salo"
