Hands down the best restaurant in town. The Brussels sprouts mousse with feta hazelnut mango puree was to die for. I especially enjoyed the squid stuffed boars head with rhubarb essence. For dessert the cracked black pepper pie was divine. I will be back again and again.

Food...that I have tasted is good Problem is that I have been sitting here for 2 hours and only had an appetizer and a salad Kitchen is woefully slow and can only believe to be disorganized at best. I keep getting the "it will be right out". But that gets old after an hour and after watching table after table of others food go out So...food good, if you can get served. Feel bad for the server, she is doing all she can do and the kitchen is dropping the ball --------- Update. Finally got the food Steak-average Chicken- under cooked at thigh Scallops - good and tender ---------- Neither the manager nor chef stepped out to address the table. So I assume they were very embarrassed by the episode and left it to the poor server to handle ...OR.... They didn't care. Either way not really how you want your customers treated

A rare find in a town generally believed to be unappealing for foodies.. I was extremely impressed with Kozy's. It is a small place, you might pass by it and never realize what amazing dining experience could await you behind the door. I took a one time love interest there and spent many hours in conversation, with some great food, seated directly in front of an amazing piano player with a voice that I can still hear the echos of today as I recall it. It was sort of that rough James Earl Jones mixed with the properly timed burst of inflection somewhat reminiscent of Cab Calloway.

IMO, this is one of only two dining establishments that is consistently worth spending good money at in Tuscaloosa. Maybe eventually I will find another place worthy of my highest recommendation.
