GENERAL MGR IS VERY RUDE & Tried to approach me. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. When ever I go through Claxton, I stop in. Well, I ordered a 1 (3) piece white, 1 chicken finger dinner & (3) 3 piece darks. I got the food and realized it was all dark meals. The young lady at the register stated that she accidentally ring all the meals up as dark meat meals. She had to go over to get the mgr which turned out to be the general mgr. She came over huffing and puffing at a simple mistake the cashier had made. She decided to void out the 41.42 bill that I had already cashed out on. I first told her, that I could just pay the 2.30 difference in cash. She said no. I then told her that it was easier for me to just purchase a 3 piece white (the dinner thats missing) and just Only return the extra 3 piece dark. She didn't want to hear any of that! She then proceeded to re-rang the entire meal stating that she voided the first ticket. I asked for a receipt for that. She fussed and stated that it would show on the new ticket. Needless to say, im sitting here with 2 different charges on my account. One in the amount of 41.42 and another for 44.46. She got upset because I had questions about this and told her that I would be back to discuss if one of the charges didn't fall off. It got so heated, that she thought it was ok to come from AROUND THE COUNTER, getting ready to step in my personal space. I had to tell tell her not to come another step closer and that I would put the food on the counter where it was provided to me at. I ended up returning everything. I asked for that receipt and she slammed it on the counter. She was very rude, unprofessional, loud & very much aggressive. She very very bold to come from around the counter, Im assuming she thought she would be able to take the food from out of my hands. Crazy Work Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I’m coming out of town visiting family in Claxton and they’re always rave about crispy chick and so I go and when I walk in you know it’s OK but when I get to the register, the lady was very rude. She just wasn’t you know friendly welcoming or anything like that so I still continue to order cause you know I’m like maybe the food is gonna be the bomb I get to my plate and like we’re eating we look down at the biscuit and it had mole on the biscuit. Honestly, I was expecting better highly disappointed the cashier like I said, was rude and not welcoming at all. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was my first time getting to a Krispy Chic in YEARS! My family and I were in town for the annual Rattlesnake and Wildlife Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2026, and I was looking forward to visiting Krispy Chic just as much (if not more) than the festival. I was a little disappointed initially after I discovered that my old go-to meal (shrimp and fingers combo) is no longer possible due to them no longer serving seafood, but I discovered a new favorite- their grilled fingers!!!! They were absolutely perfect!!! Tender, juicy, flavorful, and a healthy alternative. I really wish I had ordered more! They also have roasted bone-in chicken available that I wanted to try but they said it would be a 45-minute wait, so I had to skip them. Definitely looking forward to trying more of their grilled/roasted chicken the next time I’m in the area and have more time! The service was fast and very friendly. Very nice young ladies working there. The building itself is obviously worn and a bit smaller than I remember other Krispy Chics being in the past. While the obviously aging and slightly deteriorating look was a bit of a turn-off, there was obvious effort to keep the place clean. The bathrooms for instance were surprisingly clean but old looking, however they had upgraded a little bit by having a sensor-activated paper towel dispenser.
