Small but mighty, delicious sandwich shop in the busy, cobbled Beacon Hill neighborhood. Food is delicious, but would benefit from a handheld container option (foil or paper wrap) to make eating on-the-go easier and less messy. Make sure you get plenty of napkins to enjoy their sandwiches! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Being all the way in Florida, I wanted to make sure my sister in Boston had the perfect Valentine’s Day. Since Kured is her absolute favorite spot in the city, ordering a custom Extra Large board was a no-brainer. However, things hit a snag when Uber delivered the wrong order—a tiny small board instead of the XL masterpiece I’d picked out. I was worried the surprise was ruined, but the team at Kured stepped up in a way you just don’t see anymore. Why they are the best: True Customer Service: Instead of just blaming the delivery app, Kured took full ownership. They actually hand-delivered the correct board themselves to make sure it got to her safely. The Personal Touch: They even tucked special Valentine’s hearts into the box, which made the surprise feel so much more personal and intentional. Top-Tier Quality: My sister raves about this place for a reason. The quality of the meats, the selection of cheeses, and the fresh bread are always 10/10. It’s rare to find a business that cares this much about their customers. If you’re looking for incredible charcuterie and a team that genuinely goes the extra mile, look no further than Kured.
