The hotel itself is beautiful and the service throughout the property was exceptional, which makes the breakfast restaurant experience even more disappointing. While the hotel clearly puts effort into creating a luxury experience, the breakfast operation felt completely disconnected from that standard. The line was extremely long and the seating process was chaotic and disorganized, creating unnecessary frustration before even sitting down. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t live up to the menu descriptions or expectations. We ordered the avocado toast and it arrived on completely untoasted bread. After sending it back to be corrected, the remake somehow came back with less than half the original portion size — going from two large pieces of bread to one normal-sized piece cut into two pieces. It felt inconsistent and underwhelming. The experience was disappointing enough that despite breakfast being included with our stay, we chose to skip it entirely on our second morning and paid out of pocket to eat elsewhere. For a hotel delivering such a high-end atmosphere and great service in other areas, the breakfast restaurant feels like a major missed opportunity and doesn’t currently match the standard of the rest of the property. Such a disappointment. We had $30 each to use towards breakfast and both agreed we should have just gone somewhere else. They tried to force us to get the buffet, which didn't look good and half the stuff was empty. I have a dairy allergy and that also limited the options. We ordered off the menu and they forgot half our order. Service was so chaotic. Food was mediocre at best. Such a rip off even with the credit. I wouldn't recommend this place. There are way too many good restaurants in Philly. Price per person: $30–40

Thanksgiving lunch at Chez Colette was exactly what I was hoping for. The food was delicious. There were traditional main dishes, with a few non-traditional ones, and a large selection of seafood and charcuterie. The desserts were very good, and the coffee was just right. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I'm so glad we chose to go here!
