Very clinical atmosphere. A bit intimidating but without the expertise to back it. Concept seems innovative but the menu lacks clear description on how to properly order - where one drink section starts and the next begins.. supposed flavours ended up being overly sweet or overpowering. Both our tea section drinks were very aromatic but the tea flavor was lacking. For a bar that boasts a name like Lab I would assume some level of creativity especially wrt molecular gastronomy of the sorts. But it didn't seem like it. Saw one person get sprayed with lavender but that was about it in terms of surprises and innovation. The most negative part is the service. Seating could have been handled more gracefully. Basic respect for customer comfort over business should be upheld as with general hospitality standards. They did try to make up for it but usually it's a friendly greeting at the beginning of service that holds your customers not at the end of the night as an apologetic gesture.
