We had a fantastic evening meal here. The owners clearly have a passion for good food and wine which they deliver exceptionaly well. The food was absolutely outstanding, the beef fillet was melt in your mouth tender , generously sized and perfectly cooked. The duck and salmon dishes looked very delicious and were well received by our group. The wine menu has some excellent choices that pair perfectly with the dishes, including Peregrine Chardonnay and a beautiful oak barrel aged merlot that paired well with the fillet steak. The poached pear dessert also deserves a mention as it is rare to see on menu's but one of my personal favourites. They also have an extensive and exciting selection of beers. Service: 5

Our Day 2 (31/3/25) cycle from Clyde to Lake Roxburgh Lodge for over nite stay. Friendly welcome from host Max. Amenities at accommodation are Quality style. Very happy to have booked dinner at LRL. Had the most delicious 2-course dinner cooked by host/chef Anna. More so with a delicious perfectly cooked porriage breakfast for fussy eater! We also had Chef Anna to pre-pack our lunch sandwiches (freshly prepared) to continue onwards our Roxburgh Gorge trail! Thanks
