Nice staff, clean tables and table service with nice food served up at your table. Also very important, nice loose = Plus seating outside on a nice dry day. Also if you like fishing, (obviously a small fee), there are lakes to fish in or walking around. If you wanted you could walk around the lakes before or after your nice meal. There are also nice tackle shop/warehouse right next door to the restaurant.. There are also two much larger lakes for fishing in across the road. Just ask the staff for directions. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Recently went for our 2nd visit to the lakeside kitchen. So disappointing, my husband had a cooked breakfast and I had some white toast, which arrived at our table burnt and when I mentioned to the waitress she said she had told the chef it was burnt but was told.it was alright .£4 for two slices of toast is pricey anyway but to have it arrive burnt! The butter packets were warm so could almost drip it onto the toast and the orange juice was equally as warm. £25 for our breakfast which was a treat for us. Afraid we won't be returning unless it gets better. On the plus side the dogs were welcome and had a better experience than us. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
