We were here with the family for a short vacation. From the friendly welcome to the departure, where a forgotten scarf was forwarded by post, everything was very pleasant. As is typical for January, the weather was not very inviting. We were all the more often in the wellness area with a large sauna, swimming pool and whirlpool. Cleanliness is not a problem here. From the changing rooms to the relaxation room, we used everything and relaxed. You choose breakfast in advance, so it's not a classic buffet. Reordering is no problem and probably means less food is thrown away. We will come back. Many thanks to the nice team at Landhaus Carsten! We had a good time! Rooms: Sufficient size with attractive, rather classic furnishings. Nearby activities: Timmedorfer beach with swimming opportunities, good restaurants and shopping opportunities. Everything perfect!!! Service from the 1st to the last minute of the stay. Spacious, bright rooms, delicious breakfast, very nice wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. Great location, right on the beach promenade and by the sea. Great short vacation. You'll be happy to come back there. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

As visitors to holiday apartments in the Bay of Lübeck, we are of course also familiar with Landhaus Carstens. This was the first time we had booked a room in the opposite annex and we were extremely satisfied. The room was not only very bright and spacious, but also well furnished including the bathroom. There was a parking space directly in front of the house. Breakfast was taken in the main house (country house style) and was prepared and brought to the table based on the options available. The danger was that you would “wish” for too much given the selection on offer. But we managed it well. We were surprised by the spacious wellness area of the house, which we - as branch guests - were also able to use. Bathrobe and flip flops (terry cloth) were part of the room furnishings. When entering the wellness area, we tested the use of the changing room with a changing room and a lockable cupboard and found it to be good. There was a shower in this area for showering before or after. There are also more in the beautifully landscaped sauna area, which could be used after registration. The relatively large swimming pool plus whirlpool also had a shower. All in all, two outstanding days with mixed weather - no points deducted for the - in our opinion - very well-run Landhaus Carstens, although we had not gotten to know the rooms in the main house.
