I placed an order on Dec 4 that was never received. After multiple emails with no reply and multiple phone calls saying it was going to be corrected and shipped I am still without my order. I highly recommend finding another place to purchase from which is sad as I grew up in the area and enjoyed sharing Larsen's products with numerous people.

I want to commend Larsen’s Bakery for a couple of reasons. To begin, my family has been receiving Kringles for Christmas breakfast from this bakery since I was a child (I am now 43.). First, they were sent yearly by my aunt and uncle as a gift, and once they passed, I continued to order to provide my family with the same tradition that I had always loved so much! This year, I obviously did the same. However, due to Covid, and at no fault of the bakery, we did not receive our Kringles for Christmas breakfast. In fact, when they arrived, they had passed their freshness. Unfortunately, the Postal Service, after contacting them, would not take responsibility (which is frustrating all around!). Thankfully, the bakery did help me in resolving this matter. Although I have never physically been to this bakery, as I have always ordered online (being from Pennsylvania), I imagine they are small operation, and it is a shame that they had to deal with situations like this. (I am sure I was not alone in experiencing the late delivery.) I do, however, commend them on their customer service as well as the amazing Kringles that my family has enjoyed for so many years!

I spent more than $160 on four orders that were intended to be Christmas gifts. Shipping delays caused three of my four orders to arrive 12 days after they left the bakery. I understand that the postal service got backed up, however the lack of customer service is why I will not recommend Larsen. The Kringles finally arrived on December 30 after being shipped on the 18th, obviously stale by now, and no one from the bakery will respond to emails or messages. I've been trying to reach them since the 24th when it was clear they were not going to arrive by Christmas despite paying for 2-3 day shipping.
EDIT: See comments below. It took some time, but I give Larsen credit for making things right. Replacement Kringle was received on January 22nd and 23rd for the orders that got stuck in the USPS system before Christmas. Communication could have been better, but they did the right thing in the end.

Alex, We are incredibly sorry that you are not happy with the service from our bakery. We did ship your orders out in time for Christmas, and you also recognize we unfortunately have no control over orders once they leave here. Covid has been a nightmare for our business with regard to disappointed customers like you, as circumstances with all of the delivery services left us with nothing we could have done to get your order there in time. The kringles do have a 10-12 day shelf life, and are double-wrapped for freshness. If you would like, I can try to put in a claim for reimbursement from the post office if you give me your order numbers; but even then there’s no guarantee they will grant it. We also apologize about a shortcoming in communication; as you can imagine, there are a lot of customers who were affected by the shipping delays who are now also calling/emailing us daily for updates. Though we try our best to respond to everyone as quickly as possible, with being a small business we simply do not have the resources to be able to dedicate people strictly to answering the volume of communication we are receiving. If we missed a call or calls from you, I sincerely apologize; however, looking through our email system, the only email we have about your orders is the automatically generated one we receive when you placed your order. We did not receive an email at any point after for which to respond. Again, we are sorry about the inconveniences, and will try to help you out in this situation to whatever extent we are able if you would like to DM us. Thanks, Debbie
