We stumbled upon this bar completely by chance. It looked quiet and almost empty, except for a smartly dressed gentleman sitting outside with a drink, calmly reading a book. My friend casually asked him, “Is this bar good?” Without saying a word, he simply stood up, walked into the bar, and motioned us in—welcoming us to take our seats as if we had just been expected all along. This small and cozy bar turned out to be one of the unexpected highlights of my trip to Japan. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with a great balance of good music, excellent drinks, and easy, unhurried conversation. What made the experience truly unforgettable was the bar owner, Koji-san. Friendly, humorous, and incredibly witty, he had a natural ability to make every guest feel instantly at home. Despite the occasional language barrier, his charm and playful sense of humor kept the entire bar laughing throughout the night. He was also remarkably generous with every pour, never rushing anyone and always making sure glasses stayed full and spirits stayed high. Just as memorable were the regulars, who welcomed us as if we had been coming there for years. We were quickly drawn into conversations and made to feel completely included. The combined warmth of both the owner and the patrons gave the bar a feeling more like a close-knit gathering of friends than a business. If you’re looking for a place with genuine hospitality, personality, and an authentic cozy local vibe, this bar is an absolute gem. I would return in a heartbeat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm sitting here right now as I write this review after having some alone time with the bartender. This place is such a cramped and charming little space. The bartender speaks some English and really makes an effort to make you feel welcome. Great cocktails are also a plus, of course! Public Wi-Fi is also available . Only issue is the cocktails are the most expensive I've paid for in Japan. Likely charge + 3 drinks came out to 6800. Two glasses of nihonshu were provided as complimentary however. Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
