The waiters are very friendly and so are the chef and the bar tender, who came to greet us and made sure we enjoyed what we ordered!
I sarcastically asked if they served shisha, and surprisingly they did! A plus for anyone who's into smoking shisha while having a meal!
We enjoyed the alcoholic cocktails we had: one was gin, passion fruit and lemon and the other was vodka with cranberry juice.
At first, we were offered amazingly freshly baked warm bread balls with a refreshing veggie olive oil dip!
The mezza consisted of beetroot salad, a bowl of cheese, fatayer, kafta in cherry jam, sausages and mashed potatoes with mint.
I wish they were more generous, because some
items were really good that we would have enjoyed some more.
One main dish was steak wrapped around spinach and cheese with some courgettes and potatoes. We replaced the blue cheese sauce with a cheesey creamy one. This dish was awesome, but then again, I wanted more!
The other main dish was a genrous salmon steak with lots of vegetables. Just the expected dose of goodness.
The dessert was halawet el jeben filled with achta ice cream. It was too frozen to taste the flavors.
If you're ever up in Broumana and you want some quiet time, then head to Latifa and enjoy the tranquillity!
