For years I have heard of the Launch as the "dodgy bar with a doorbell", but one day I decide to go in and investigate this establishment for myself... And little did I know... I fell in love with it... From being able to get a good quality midday pint at a more than fair price? What's not to love, the pub has provided the best deal I have ever seen for a stout being three pints of Beamish for 13 Euros. Now that deal is no longer available, a standard pint of Beamish is 5 Euros exact. There are one or two other bars in the city which offer a similar price, but the difference is that the Launchs Beamish is a solid 7/10 pint. Besides the pints, the atmosphere there is exceptional and the bar staff are A1. It's a great spot to meet a friend, chat to a stranger or even have a quiet corner to yourself. The Launch has become my number one go to bar in the city. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €20–30
