El lugar es muy acogedor. Tiene mesas dentro con una bonita decoración y grandes ventanas. Pero lo mejor es su amplia terraza, donde puede evitarse la calor y las aglomeraciones de gente, con unas bonitas vistas. No pedimos nada de carne, por lo que no puedo opinar sobre ella, aunque los platos eran similares a los que muestro en las imágenes de pescado. Siendo Tánger una ciudad portuaria, teníamos que pedir pescado. Pedimos pez espada y "sol" que es como denominan ellos al lenguado. Los platos eran abundantes, por unos 9€, tenían una buena cantidad de pescado, de patatas e incluso arroz. Traían una salsa, que no estoy seguro, pero creo que era mayonesa y kétchup. Muy rico todo, el pescado muy fresco y exquisito. Los zumos son completamente naturales, un espectáculo que por unos 2,5€ te puedas tomar un zumo natural recién hecho en una terraza en pleno centro de Tánger, una maravilla. Muy recomendable el sitio. Aunque puede ser complicado pillar mesa dependiendo de la hora. This is the new Moroccan restaurant that replaced a French restaurant in 2016. While Le Bistrot du Petit Socco has a daily selection of delicious couscous and tajines, soups, coffees, mint teas, fresh breads, olives and deserts, I must admit that I do miss the authentic French foods that used to be served here.The name is the same as the original French restaurant, Le Bistrot du Petit Socco, but it now specialises in traditional Moroccan foods. It is unfortunately a bit more expensive than most other restaurants in the Medina. Nevertheless, the restaurant is worth patronizing for an unbeatable bird’s eye view of the Petit Socco from its attractive upper terrace and the food.You can easily walk here from the port, from the Grand Socco, Dar Baroud and the Hotel Continental or the Kasbah.Upstairs there is a small, comparatively quiet and unpretentious dining room with picture window from which you can enjoy the views and activities in the Petit Socco.After some renovations during Ramadan, the restaurant reopened for business in late-June 2017. The owners have added an open-air lattice-covered rooftop dining terrace surrounded by greenery which is quiet and pleasant, and I suspect you won't want to leave.Le Bistrot du Petit Socco has WiFi, and it works, so that is definitely a plus. You should try this restaurant right on the Petit Socco.No alcoholic beverages are sold. Le Bistrot du Petit Socco is cash only; no credit cards.I found the upper terrace had the most amazing views of the Petit Socco, the Hotel Fuentes, Café Tingis and Café Central. There is even a glimpse of the port and ocean. It is across from the Hotel Maram and the upscale Palais Zahia Hotel and Spa.If you want to eat breakfast, be sure to arrive well before noon, as you might be turned away with the excuse that only lunch items are available.Le Bistrot du Petit Socco is open for business during the month of Ramadan, only to tourists and non-moslems.
