I've been here twice now for conferences. I believe a minimum of 30 guests are necessary in order to book this room. Unfortunately, I'm unsure of the price when booking. The meal comes with 2 alcoholic drinks (or you can opt for 4 non alcoholic), a appetizer, a main and a dessert. The meal I had recently was composed of a duck salad with mixed berries, a cut of steak with vegetables and cheesy potatoes and a mango/passion fruit mousse cake. Pros: - Very good dessert! I would've taken 2 more of those bad boys! - Respectful and quick service: they did not disrupt the presentation. - Generous servings of duck on the salad. - The cheesy potatoes sent me to heaven. They were rich and flavourful. - Very nice space for a conference. The presentation felt intimate and it's very quiet. The room is quite large , but can be changed to accomodate more or less people. Cons: - The bread was not warm and soft. It was cold and it did not feel very fresh. - The white wine which came with the meal was a horrible pairing for the duck salad. It left a bad metallic taste in my mouth. - My friend who asked for the vegetarian option got a risotto which was quite good, but the same salad without the duck. It was not substituted by another topping. They simply removed the duck, which felt disappointing. - The steak was surprisingly uneven. Mine was thick and juicy, but the others around me had significantly tinner, drier meats. Overall, I think it's a good choice for a conference for students going to HEC, UdeM or the Polytechnique, because of the convenient location. However, the food did not have any wow factor. i believe that the best place for a conference nearby is still the McHall, which is situated above the McCarroll bar on CDN.
