Le Petit Chef - Guelph So let me start with the basics it’s a interactive , cute and entertaining experience. The menu is set and it’s 5 courses they seemed diligent and accommodating to allergies from witnessing the people around us. I read some of the reviews before hand and I have to say those people don’t understand that upscale dining and 18% is a min tip The service in this place was outstanding it’s not insulting to tip more lol Jamie the bartender I hope they never loose him. He was incredible. Knowledgeable Leanne is the restaurant manager she was attentive , personable ane kind. Ava was fantastic and I loved making jokes with her. The chef comes out at the end and speaks to each table Sanson explained to me that his Indian background , he trained in a fine dinning restaurant in Guelph. The food was 1000% spot on. The menu was 5 courses at 129.99 each plus a 18% tip added. We of course added more to make it 20%. The ingredients were fresh and every bite was spot on. My husband went into this experience completely blind. I never told him where we were going on the menu. Highly recommend doing this. The entertainment of the chef made for a fun and different night. The cocktails and wine selection were plentiful. Overall I would absolutely go back they change the menu yearly apparently it was a great high end and fun experience. Do not watch the videos if you want a surpsie. I definitely didn’t film even half of what’s to come. Only flaw the music is AWFUL lol. Full review on food and Waterloo region Facebook page.
