It was 2002 and we were on our honeymoon travelling through Scotland from America. We stopped in The Lemon Tree by chance for a quick lunch and spent a considerable amount of time chatting with the owners, Angus and Fiona. They were a completely lovely couple and made our day with tips and tales about the area. The food and company were a gift.
