Arrival without reservation on the way back from vacation. the terrace was full but the manager kindly offered us a table inside. menu at a fair price. Home service and top cuisine. It was a nice break for us on the way back. THANKS Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

TO RUN AWAY!! Very poor welcome when I arrived at the hotel, not a smile. We have the impression of disturbing the person at reception who is the boss (I learned this later).! I had booked an evening stopover. When I arrived he asked me for my registration number. Not cool, I've never been asked that!! There is no reserved parking at the hotel, I had noticed this and I asked in case I was wrong and he confirmed it to me in an arrogant, unacceptable tone. An empty bottle of water in the room, as a welcome, I kindly pointed it out but it was not taken well by the same person who nevertheless replaced it for me. When I arrived, this same person at reception (the boss) gave me the meal times and nothing else... I asked if there was a restaurant to find out where it was and he replied curtly "if you have booked an evening stopover there is a restaurant......!” Not cool! A chilling welcome!! Very weak internet network in the village of Neufchatel...no wifi on the restaurant terrace. In the room, - bad smell - problematic smell due to the carpet on the floor which is stained, -you have an unsecured WIFI network.... at your own risk, as written in the general conditions to be validated before connecting to the Wi-Fi. At the restaurant: I had booked an evening stopover because when booking I was told that the menu is the same as for the other customers of the restaurant, I noticed that this is necessary. The cheese was very reduced compared to other customers..!. COMMITMENTS ARE NOT FULFILLED During the meal, the wine served was too hot (it was 25 degrees outside, it was at room temperature), I tasted it but did not drink it. I don't say anything. the waitress asks me after the starter if it went well, I only tell her, then, that the wine is too hot and she sulks, telling me that it is at normal (ambient) temperature, but specifies that she talk to the boss about it. This one ignored me while coming to serve other customers close to me on the terrace. He didn't come and when the dish was brought to me, I reminded him of the problem. The waitress apparently took it badly according to the boss who then came to see me in a very unpleasant tone!! He didn't apologize for the inconvenience. For dessert I chose the cheese platter because I thought I could taste Neufchatel (local specialty) which I didn't know. I had a plate with only 3 cheeses (without being able to choose) including a very small piece of Neuchâtel. NOT GOOD FOR PROMOTING NEUFCHATEL.!!! A RESTAURANT TO BE BANNED BY THE PRODUCERS OF NEUFCCHATEL.! The boss should stop the trade. THE CUSTOMER THE GENE!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Undrinkable room manager - charming room staff and elaborate cuisine but gastronomic experience spoiled by a manager far from the calm and level-headedness required in an establishment of this standing. If you knew our establishment so well, butter and cream are part of the basic elements of our cuisine. We are not part of the hospital kitchen. We remind you that we do not claim to be a gourmet restaurant. We love good products like butter, cream, etc., the basis of French cuisine. Allow me to respond to your comment. First of all my companion was not rude or insulting towards. We cannot and do not make sauces or preparations without gluten and lactose at the last moment. My husband explained to you that not all dishes were adaptable to your intolerances. Something you did not accept. Your argument was that other restaurants were making preparations just for you… Being a chef, I am not a magician. ... You chose a starter where there was only lactose and gluten which we had to redo from A to Z… regarding dessert the base of the pastry is cream, butter and cream. We also changed your dessert. Madam, I don't see what more we can do to satisfy you. Our regular customers with gluten-lactose intolerance are delighted with the arrangements we offer them. Madam, I remind you that we are not a Michelin-starred restaurant nor with the pretension of being a gourmet restaurant.
