An exceptional culinary experience! The restaurant Les Jardins de Sidi Bou Saïd is a real hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, I was charmed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place, with its peaceful ambiance and beautifully maintained gardens. The cuisine is simply divine. Each dish is a masterpiece of flavors, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I had the opportunity to taste several dishes of traditional Tunisian cuisine, and each of them took me on an unforgettable taste journey. The service is impeccable, with attentive and professional staff who knew how to make my experience even more pleasant. The staff's recommendations were perfectly tailored to my preferences, and I was impressed by their in-depth knowledge of the cuisine and wines offered. Where to start?...with the positive...the place is really pleasant, the decoration, the lights, the furniture, the general atmosphere is quite unique in Toulon in particular. The staff takes great care, listens to customers and always has a smile on their face, a real pleasure. The dishes are plentiful, there is no chance that you will be hungry...except that I found the cooking really not good. So in fact I am of North African origin and one might think that I lack objectivity but I eat in North African restaurants regularly and have never eaten so badly. My friends, who are not North African, found the cuisine as mediocre as I did. Some examples...a super spicy Moroccan chicken/lemon tagine so this dish shouldn't be...it's like making a spicy beef bourguignon, it's way too far from the original recipe. .but let's skip the chili, the taste wasn't there at all. The couscous meatballs were clearly difficult to eat this...the tasteless bricks, stuffed with uncooked egg and raw onion (literally) we didn't try the grilled meats so I can't give you my opinion on this.. in short, we had a nice evening thanks to the setting and the staff but I advise you to move on if you like and know Maghreb gastronomy
