The views from the hotel are absolutely breath taking. We loved our room, and the entire hotel is truly such a lovely space to be in. We were really excited to stay here for our honeymoon. And it really did feel like an amazing honeymoon spot! We had champagne in our room with a lovely hand written card waiting for us. It was a very kind gesture and greatly appreciated. Our only complaint was the service. Every meal we had, we had to remind our waiter about our order because something was amiss. On our first night at dinner, we were gifted two more glasses of champagne (again, very kind!), but the staff didn’t seem to communicate about it because they then added it to our bill. The second night, we went just for drinks and dessert and got completely forgotten by the staff multiple times and ended up waiting over an hour for someone to take our order. On our final night, we waited over an hour for our dessert to come and had to flag down a staff member to check on it for us. There was one staff member in particular who did an outstanding job - Pauline. She remembered our names, and she always made us feel welcome and like there was space for us. Her hospitality really stands out and she goes above and beyond for you. This is such a lovely place, but people remember how you made them feel - and unfortunately we felt forgotten on multiple occasions during our experience here on our honeymoon. This is still somewhere that we would recommend, with the caveat that the service is not that of a 5 star hotel. Service: 2
