This used to be one of the best, if not the best, pizza places/cafes in Edmonton. The place was bustling with people around noon, in a great atmosphere. Then, they changed the business model, separated the pizza from the cafe. Now the place is just sad. Few people, no pizza, unless you order in the back and bring the boxes in, and the pastry shelves are empty. Sadly, this is a prime example of how you can completely ruin a great business model. I feel sorry for the staff; this place gives the impression of being on the verge of closing down.

On February 1 - the transition to the two-part independently branded concepts will be complete . The staff and management are very excited and we Believe the past and future customers will be equally excited and supportive . Thanks for the continued patronage.

Love the croissants here! Super friendly staff as well. A great place to study, have brunch or catch up with friends! Great hours too for those who are always looking for a mini getaway on campus.

Café Leva has been my go to café for quite sometime. Unfortunately, there must have been a change in management because the past few years everything did a full 180.They ruined the open, classy and vintage feel; by swapping it for a modern bar feel. -They removed the gelato-hours have shortend drastically!-Changed the tiramisu (no more mug and lady fingers; it's now custard in plastic.) -They removed the macarons (last I checked but might have been brought back)-baked goods were solid, not soft. (I did inform the employees at the time and they accommodated well)I will be going to Leva in the very near future to update my opinion and facts on the establishment.If this review needs adjusting then I will graciously oblige.However if I am greeted with a nasty comment by the owner, proof of poor management and lack of hospitality then this review will be much worse than before. I will also provide photos to back my statments. This is an integrity move Leva! Please be on the ball, it would be dreadful for you to be caught off guard
